In the 18th century of Vikram Samvat, Bhavvijayji Gani Mahatma became blind in both eyes because of heatwave. All treatments failed. On the command of his Guru, he began worshipping Goddess Padmavatiji. The goddess manifested, and through her, the divine history of Antriksh Parshvanath Bhagwan was narrated.

As narrated by Devi Padmavati during the reign of Munisuvrat Swami Bhagwan, the idol of Lord Antriksh Parshwanath was made from cow-dung and clay by Vidyadhar Raja Khar, a relative of Ravana, and was worshipped and immersed in a well.

About 950 years ago, King of Achalpur, King Shripal who was suffering from leprosy, during his roam about after leaving the kingdom, coincidently, he used the water of the well impregnated by Parshwa Prabhu and the disease was cured.

As informed by dharnendra dev, The king wasn’t supposed to look behind at the chariot of Antriksh Parshwanath Bhagwan, it would automatically follow King Shripal by the dev, devis power.  

Suspecting that doubt ing if the chariot was following him or not, the  king made the mistake of looking back. As a result, the divine idol of Parshwanath Bhagwan was lifted 9 feet in sky from ground level under a tree. Since then, he was known as “Antriksh Parshwanath”

Due to the false pride of the king about making his name immortal, because of the idol. The idol of Antriksh Parshwanath did not even enter the new temple built as suggested by dharnendra dev inspite of lots of request. along with the Jain temple built in the forest as per the information given by Dharnendra, the God did not come to the temple in spite of requests.

In the Sangh Jinalaya built as per the information given by Dharnendra who was under the influence of Abhaydevsuri Ji, in the year 1142, on the fifth day of the bright half of the month of Magh, the Supreme idol of Antriksh Parshwanath Bhagwan was established in Vijay Muhurat.

King Shripal, who wanted to know the reason behind this miracle, was shown a vision of God by the presiding deity. The king then asked for the idol of Parshwanath Bhagwan, but the deity refused to give the idol of God.

King Shripal in the want of the idol sat for a penance of upvas. Dharnendra was pleased with the seven-day of upvas worship of King Shripal and gave him permission to take the idol of the God for the benefit of the world.

As per the information given by Dharnendra dev, God was attained in a palanquin made of raw cotton thread and the departure of God by yoking seven days calves to the chariot made of straws of jawar grass.

King again called Dharnendra dev. Dharnendra dev denied to help King Shripal. He suggested to build a new temple near the tree. King Shripal did so but during the process, he got a feeling of boost in his name & fame because of the miraculous idol.

Abhaydev suri marasaheb installed the idol of God facing towards west, seven inches above from the ground in air. Raja Shripal decorated the idol with various ornaments, performed Aarti and established ‘Sripur Nagar’.

Devotees gathered inside a temple for a ritual; priests in white perform puja before a black idol, while others offer golden trays.

Dharnendra dev was requested and tell the reason behind the denial of idol to enter the temple. Dharnendra dev informed King Shripal about his feeling of immortal name & fame. Again dharnendra dev suggest King Shripal to call Abhay dev Shri Maharaja for further rivals.

Abhayadev Suri Maharaj did meditation. Then after Dharnendra suggested to make a new temple with 100% contribution of “Shree Sangh”.

Bhavavijayaji Gani Mahatma, who had come from Patan for a pilgrimage with the Sangha after knowing the glory of Antriksh Parshwanath Paramatma from Padmavatiji, regained both his eyes by merely seeing the Paramatma.

Inside a temple, devotees including children and priests sit in prayer before a black idol emitting a divine beam of light.

Inspired by Bhavavijayaji Gani Marasaheb to expand the Jinalay by the request of Padmavatidevi and Vikram Samvat 1715 On the auspicious day of Chaitra Shukla Shashti 6th.

The Supreme idol was re-established facing towards east. From that day, ever since, the idol of lord Antriksh Parshwanath has been one finger above the groud till date.
